Coastal
Until August 2010 4NW provided the secretariat function for the North West Coastal Forum
The North West Coastal Forum is a multi-agency partnership bringing together stakeholders from the public, private and voluntary sectors working to promote and deliver integrated management for our coastal areas to ensure their long term sustainability. The Forum is a unique regional organisation, which has been promoted as a model of good practice in the UK. The ambitious agenda will be achieved through Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) - a process which brings together all those in the development, management and use of the coast within a unified framework. ICZM will enable our coastal areas to be more effectively and creatively managed.
