Regional Housing

Housing issues in the North West reflect the diverse and complex nature of the region itself. These include everything from the highest concentration of homes in need of refurbishing and repair in the UK, to issues of affordability in the rural areas of Cumbria, Cheshire and Lancashire.

Northwest Regional Housing Strategy

The Northwest Regional Housing Strategy vision is:

"To create balanced housing markets across the Northwest that support economic growth, strengthen economic and social incusion and ensure that everyone has access to appropriate, well-designed high quality, affordable housing, in sustainable, mixed and vibrant communities."
