Europe
The North West region is one of 94 similarly sized regions in the European Union but in fact it is larger than 11 of the EU's 27 countries. It is important that it plays a full part in European activity.
4NW works closely with the North West Development Agency, with the North West Brussels Office and with partners to gain maximum benefit from European policy and programmes through the joint Northwest Regional European Partnership which oversees delivery of the European Framework.
4NW takes a leading role in co-ordinating European Co-operation activities in the North West, by working with partners and stakeholders both in the region and in other countries, to ensure that the region participates in high quality projects of benefit to the North West.
